Checked out Paris

Shortly after arriving off the train to Paris we had been greeted into our apartment and were heading out for our first walk with the Americans. We walked through lots of Paris, across the river sane and the louvre gardens. I know it doesn't seem like much but it turned out to be an extremely long walk. Now I'll tell you about the river Seine (pronounced "sane"). The river sane runs right through Paris. Mum made a "mum joke" about it: "don't jump in there, you'd be in-sane" ("mum jokes" are the worst possible type of joke you can get).

Louvre gardens

While we were at the Louvre gardens, Zoe, our friends and I decided we would go play in the hedge maze. It actually has art works - bronze statues of people - throughout the maze so if you're not careful you might bump right into a naked woman made of metal.

I discovered there were little hills in the maze and that running down them was extremely fun. I showed our friends and Zoe this and they thought it was fun too. We ran down the hill over and over and over again. Just before we go home and while we are still having fun I will explain to you about the Louvre gardens. The Louvre gardens are actually called the Jardin des Tuileries (pronounced "Twillery") and they have many, many different types of flowers such as: Roses, violets, daisies, violas, irises and stocks. They also have a fountain right in the middle of the gardens and people sit around the fountain just watching it.

We were walking home when mum found a shopping centre, oh no, painful mistake, after that error we walked slowly back and I clambered into my cozy, soft bed and drifted off to sleep.
